Neuroscientist-Teacher Partner Program

Enrich Education with Partnerships

Neuroscientist at classroom

A neuroscientist visits an elementary school classroom for a school-wide “Brain Day.”

If you are a neuroscientist or completing graduate studies in neuroscience and would like to interact with teachers and students in K-12 classrooms, your expertise is needed to share knowledge and raise interest in the nervous system.

The program partners K-12 educators and other involved in teacher preparation at the college or university level with Society members who have volunteered their time.

Click a state on the interactive map below to see names and locations of participating neuroscientists. Educators are invited to make contact by e-mail or phone.

Neuroscientists interested in joining the program are invited to submit contact information. For more information, see frequently asked questions or contact SfN's Public Education Department at education@sfn.org.
